I attended the American Meteorological Society's annual meeting in San Diego, CA  January 9-13, 2005.  During the first day of the meeting, I attended a day-long short-course on forensic meteorology.  This was the first AMS offering in this specialized field in 9 years.  The meeting was attended by meteorologists from around the country and attorneys from the San Diego area.
