Light Snow Tomorrow

A combination of short wave energy sliding just south of New England (represented by orange & red shading in image above and weak low pressure at the surface will result in some light snow for us Tuesday into Tuesday night. Based on current timing, the snow will spread from west to east across the region between 11 AM-3 PM. Might take until 4 PM to get far, northeastern MA into it. Should taper off during Tuesday night, except eastern MA where it may linger into early Wednesday. Accumulations likely to be on the order of 1.0"-3.0", possibly 4.0" in some of the the northern hills. Should have some impact on the Tuesday evening commute. (The Tuesday morning commute should be fine).
