A Quiet, Seasonably Cold Weekend...
A high pressure center will continue to move over the region tonight and Saturday, resulting in decreasing wind. There will be some mid-level cloudiness around at times, though. Late Saturday into Saturday night a pathetic little low pressure system will pass offshore, well to our south. Most of our region will remain dry, although it is possible that central NJ and parts of Long Island could get brushed with a dusting/coating of snow. Sunday will be sunny & seasonably cold. Lows tonight will be in the teens-low 20's. Highs mostly in the low-mid 30's Saturday, except some upper 20's across higher elevations. Lows Saturday night/early Sunday will be a few degrees higher than tonight - mostly upper teens-mid 20's, and Sunday's highs will be mostly in the 30's (could push 40 in southern parts of the region).
