A Little Dicey Tomorrow
Looks like there will be a little freezing rain across interior southern New England Tuesday morning between 6 AM-10 AM. Should warm up enough for plain rain by 9-10 AM and after, except across the northwest & northeast hills of CT and parts of western MA, where an extended period of icing could occur due to stubborn temperatures clinging to near or slightly below freezing. Too soon to comment intelligently about Thursday's situation until models come into better agreement. The NWS has issued freezing rain and winter weather advisories for much of the region (see image below). The southern New England shoreline, NYC & Long Island are likely looking at a mostly plain rain event tomorrow, although a brief period of light, freezing rain is not out of the question in a few spots.
