An area of low pressure over the Great Lakes tomorrow will give way to a weak, secondary low off the mid-Atlantic coast Tuesday night. The secondary low will move toward the north-northeast, tracking east of New England Wednesday. Areas of light snow will be most likely to develop near or north of I-84 during the day Tuesday, and in other areas Tuesday evening or night. The snow will taper off during the first half of Wednesday after accumulating to 2"-5" across most of the region. The operational run of the GFS model suggests snow amounts could be higher and linger longer. This morning there are a few flurries around. After a few flurries this morning, clouds will try to mix with some sun during the day today, however there is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect south of Boston where some locations could pick up several inches of snow due to a coastal front and north-northeast wind off the water. Highs today mostly in the 20's. Upper 20's-low 30's Tuesday. Thursday-Saturday looks dry with moderating temperatures.
