Snow Update

Mostly cloudy this afternoon. Some places will see a few breaks in the clouds. A little light snow and flurries at times from western MA, down across northwestern CT, upstate NY, and northwestern NJ. Highs in the upper 20's-low 30's (higher on Long Island). Occasional light snow north & west of Hartford, CT tonight, with snow developing in other areas during the predawn & early morning hours Wednesday. Snow may mix with some rain & sleet south & east of Hartford. Snow tapers off in the late morning/early afternoon across NJ & southeastern NY and in the mid-late afternoon across central & eastern CT. Snow accumulations mostly 2"-6", except higher amounts possible in northwestern areas (see map above) and less than 2" across parts of central & eastern Long Island (and possibly east, coastal CT - not shown on map) due to mixing with rain. Highs in the 30's Wednesday. Thursday looks sunny & breezy with temps in the low-mid 30's. Dry & turning milder Friday-Sunday.
