Dry & mild weather will continue today and during the daylight hours Thursday. Thursday night into Saturday our region will be impacted by a nor'easter.
Highs mostly in the 50's today & tomorrow under a mix of sun & clouds.
Rain moves in Thursday evening. Periods of rain likely Thursday night & Friday.
Rain will probably mix with wet snow at times Friday in the northwest hills.
Other parts of the state will see the rain mix with or change to wet snow at times Friday night into Saturday, with the precipitation tapering off during Saturday. Any snow accumulations look small at this point, except across the higher elevations of northwestern CT, where there could be several inches of heavy, wet snow.
It will become breezy Thursday night & Friday, with a northeast wind at about 15-20 mph, with some 30+ mph gusts, however the strongest gusts (50+ mph?) would occur Friday night into Saturday based on the current storm track.
Rainfall amounts of 1.00"-2.00" likely, with higher amounts possible, depending on the exact track of the storm.
