An area of low pressure in the mid-levels of the atmosphere moving out of the Great Lakes toward New England today will keep conditions on the cloudy side and a bit unsettled through the first half of tonight. A short wave rotating around this low will produce rain & snow showers during this evening into the first half of tonight.

1. Mostly cloudy today with a few breaks. Chance for a shower. High near 50.

2. Showers will become a bit more widespread this evening into the first part of tonight, with some snow showers - especially across higher elevations. Decreasing cloudiness after midnight. Lows 30-35.

3. Wednesday looks partly sunny with highs 50-55.

4. Occasional showers late Wednesday night & Thursday as the next low moves into New England.

5. Improving weather this weekend into early next week.
