Summer-like Weather To End With A Bang?

Another warm day today and a tad humid. A couple showers will redevelop by late morning. Although there could be a scattered t-storm this afternoon, it looks like the main line of thunderstorms will move across the state from northwest to southeast between approximately 6:30 PM-10:30 PM. Although the line will tend to weaken as it moves east, some of the storms could pack a punch and produce some wind damage (not to mention the hazard associated with lightning). Cooler, drier air will move in as a northwest wind picks up after midnight, sending low temperatures into the low-mid 50's by daybreak Saturday. Saturday looks like the better of the two weekend days with a mix of sun & clouds & highs in the low-mid 70's. Showers Sunday with temps in the low-mid 60's.
