An inch of rain has fallen in parts of the region today and by the time the rain tapers to scattered showers, drizzle & areas of fog tonight rainfall totals could reach 1.5"-3.0" in a number of towns, leading to street flooding in some places. High temperatures will eventually rise into the 60's inland and to about 70 along the coast. Temperatures and humidity will slowly rise tonight, with the chance for a t-storm in a few towns toward morning. Wednesday looks mostly cloudy, warm & humid, with highs around 80 and tropical dewpoints in the low 70's. There is the chance for a shower or two tomorrow, but much of the daytime will be rain-free. A cold front swings through Wednesday night, bringing the chance for a shower or t-storm, followed by cooler & drier weather for the rest of the week.
