Winds will shift into the northwest today and increase to 12-25 mph, with gust to 45 mph by this afternoon. It will remain windy into Friday.
Rain will change to snow and snow showers in the northwest hills this morning, with a coating to 2" accumulating in some of the higher elevations. Snow amounts increase to 3"-6" in the Berkshires and 6"-12" in the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Mostly dry today (outside of the NW Hills), but a scattered shower or flurry is possible - otherwise a mix of clouds and some sun.
Turning colder - many places will have trouble getting out of the 20's during Friday & the weekend.
Main thrust of the coastal storm Sunday passes out to our south & east. It is possible that we could be grazed with a little light snow or flurries on the northern fringe.
