• Clouds increase Wednesday. Snow could reach southwestern CT by late afternoon. May not get going in Hartford until after most of the evening commute ends.

• Snow accumulations between a coating and 2" before changing to sleet & freezing rain Wednesday night, resulting in some icing.

• Sleet & freezing rain may change to plain rain in portions of southern CT before precipitation tapers off Thursday morning. Could be a slick morning commute Thursday though, in many towns. Milder by Thursday afternoon (40's).

• Next precipitation event late Saturday night/Sunday looks like a mix to rain.
