Headlines for Monday, January 14, 2019

  1. Our quiet weather pattern will continue into Thursday.

  2. Light snow is likely Thursday night into Friday morning. Looks like an inch or two, except some lower amounts near the coast, where there may be some mixing with rain.

  3. A more significant storm appears to be taking shape for Saturday night into Sunday. It is likely to begin as snow, however it is too early to determine if it will mix with or change to sleet and rain.


A cloud deck has drifted down across most of Connecticut this morning.  There clouds will move out later today..Acrostt northwestern CT, where it is clear, many spots are starting out in the single digits.  Highs this afternoon will be in the low-mid 30's. however a northerly breeze at 6-12 mph, will add some chill to the air.

Across northwestern CT, where it is clear, many spots are starting out in the single digits. Most other areas are starting out in the teens, with some 20+ degree readings near the shoreline. Highs this afternoon will be in the low-mid 30's. however a northerly breeze at 6-12 mph, will add some chill to the air.
