Headlines For Monday, January 21
Brutal cold out there today. Wind chills this morning are -20 to -30 and will remain well below 0 all day. High temperatures will be in the single digits through most of the state.
Northwest winds will continue to gust to 40+ mph at times today. This will not only produce dangerous wind chills (frostbite possible in 15-30 minutes), but could create some new power outages where significant icing is still in place from yesterday.
Conditions start to moderate a little Tuesday: less wind & highs in the 20's.
Next precipitation looks like mostly rain later Wednesday into Thursday. Temps crack 40.
Turning colder again by the end of the week.
