  • We will be on the northern fringe of the cloud band associated with the jet stream flow today & tomorrow. Dry weather today & Saturday, with partly sunny conditions and highs in the low 40's.

  • Precipitation spreads into the state from west to east toward and after midnight Saturday night. Rain to the south, with some sleet & freezing rain inland. Mix changes to rain by Sunday morning across northern CT & rain tapers by Sunday afternoon. Highs Sunday 45-50.

  • Strong winds will develop behind this system Sunday night & Monday. West to northwest winds at 20-40 mph Monday could gust over 60 mph in parts of the state, possibly resulting in scattered tree damage and power outages.
